Mumbai, May 3 (IANS): “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” actress Vibhuti Thakur has been tapped to play a leading role in Rohit Shetty’s “India Police Force” web series.
A source familiar with the show said, “Vibhuti will star alongside Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty. Although it is a cameo, yet it is a leading role that will bring a major twist to the story. .”
Vibhuti confirmed the buzz and shared, “At the moment I won’t be able to reveal much, all I can say is that I’m doing this series.”
Vibhuti previously worked with Rohit Shetty in Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh’s star ‘Simmba’. “I share a great relationship with Rohit sir and it’s always overwhelming to work with him. I’m happy after ‘Simmba’ to have another opportunity to partner with him,” she added.
Vibhuti was recently cyberbullied after someone leaked his number on social media. She started getting vulgar messages and phone calls from strangers wanting sexual favors after that. Later, she filed a complaint in Cyber Crime.
“I had a lot of sleepless nights. My health was affected by the traumatic stress I experienced as a result of this incident. To be very honest, it was one of the darkest phases of my life, but I am happy that this show came like a ray of sunshine,” said Vibhuti.
