Two snipers from the Kala Jatheri gang land in the police net

New Delhi, March 11 (IANS): Delhi Police Special Cell announced on Friday that it has arrested two Kala Jatheri gang snipers, Lawrence Bishnoi and Naresh Sethi, who were involved in the murder of two siblings in Gurugram to establish their supremacy in the trade liquors in Delhi-NCR.

The defendants have been identified as Vikash Kant and Hoshiyar alias Rinku. Two pistols and eight live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

DCP Special Cell Sanjeev Yadav said a team under the supervision of DCP Sanjay Dutt had been working on a whistleblower for some time.

The officer said that in February the two snipers killed two siblings – Paramjit and Surjit – in Gurugram.

It was learned during the inquest that the deceased were aides to imprisoned gangster Kaushal and had a rivalry with a man named Ajay Jaildar from their own village, who was backed by the Kala Jatheri gang.

“To establish supremacy in the liquor business in Delhi-NCR, the accused decided to kill the siblings in order to settle scores with their rival gang,” Yadav said.

The special cell was informed that the accused would travel to Dwarka to meet his associates. As a result, the police set a trap and arrested the duo.
