TN Police Arrest Former Minister Rajenthra Bhalaji In Karnataka 3 Crore Cheating Case

Chennai, January 5 (IANS): Tamil Nadu Police Task Force arrested former Minister of Milk and Milk Development and AIADMK Chief Rajenthra Bhalaji of Karnataka in connection with 3 crore job recruitment scam. rupees.

The former minister, on the run since the Madras High Court rejected his request for provisional release on December 17 in a case registered by the special branch of the Virudhunagar district police, was arrested on Wednesday morning on the road main Hassan in Karnataka. He will be brought to Virudhunagar for questioning.

District criminal branch police engaged the former minister in cheating cases under IPC Sections 406, 420 and 120B for allegedly deceiving several applicants for the Rs 3 crore job into their promising jobs at Aavin, the Tamil Nadu government’s dairy cooperative.

Virudhunagar District Police Commissioner Manokaran had assembled eight special teams of police to arrest him and this proved successful on Wednesday after the arrest of the AIADMK leader.

Police also arrested BJP Krishnagiri West District General Secretary Ramakrishnan and two other accomplices along with Bhalaji.
