Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, March 4: “Protests organized by Christians against Karnataka’s Religious Freedom Protection Bill will strengthen the hands of organizations involved in religious conversions. Religious conversion is evil. Because of this, many families became apathetic as they were denied any government facilities. The state government devised this law in order to intimidate organizations involved in religious conversions into extending their lure. The Christian community, without realizing it, has played into their hands and organized a protest, which will support organizations that spread the bait to incite religious Because of these organizations, the Christian community will also suffer,” MP Dr Y Bharath Shetty said.

Shetty added that the government has taken the initiative to regulate these organizations through certain amendments to the existing law. He urged the Christian community not to stage protests but to join the government.

He said the government will use the provisions of this law without getting bogged down in decoys or protests.
