DC allows Mangalore University to hold exams from August 11

Mangaluru August 5: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr KV Rajendra has tasked the University of Mangalore to conduct the remaining exams from 11 August.

A meeting was held at the DC office on Thursday August 5th regarding the continuation of diploma exams. The DC said: “Due to the increase in cases in neighboring Kerala state, bus traffic has been suspended. The district administration has also stepped up border controls to prevent unnecessary travel. Examinations scheduled for August 4 have been postponed and will now continue from August 11. The student can attend the exams. The exams will be conducted separately for those who are unable to take the exams this time.

“Arrangements should be made for students to submit their assignments online or by mail to the respective college. Examinations must be carried out in separate rooms for students affected by Covid.

“There are 29,052 undergraduates, 5,493 postgraduates and 2,000 students from Kerala who will be taking the exams. Measures must be taken for the proper conduct of examinations without imposing sanctions or penalties, ”the DC told the school directors.
