Bantwal, April 12: The saying “Where there is a will, there is a way” has been proven by Aditya Bhat, a student of Sri Rama University College, Kalladka. He scored ninth place in the final year BCom exam held by Mangalore University with 93.8% marks. His achievement is prodigious considering the fact that he cannot walk due to some physical disability.

Aditya, who resides near Soorikumeru, has muscle weakness in her legs. Her father Ganesh Bhat used to take her to college every day. In middle school, classes were held on the ground floor for Aditya’s sake. Her teachers and classmates took care of her food and other college activities. Aditya says he was only able to achieve this feat thanks to the cooperation of everyone at the university and his family.

Aditya, who was bright from childhood, scored 96.4% in SSLC and 96% in PUC. He studied at Mani Balavikasa English Medium School till SSLC and later joined Sri Rama College in Kalladka. He intends to compete online due to his physical disability.

Proud Principal of Sri Rama College Kalladaka, Krishnaprasad Kayarakatte said, “Aditya passed his exams without anyone’s help. He made us proud and brought laurels to college. He is a role model for all other students in studies as well as in extracurricular activities.
