New Delhi, May 6 (IANS): Delhi police on Friday filed two separate cases against Punjab police in connection with the arrest of BJP spokesman Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga from his west Delhi residence, the lawyer representing the police said. from Punjab.
RK Rathore, the attorney representing the Punjab Police, told IANS: “The first case was filed under the kidnapping section, while the second was filed under the assault section. The second case was filed on the complaint of Bagga’s father. Delhi Police arrested four of the Punjab Police and took them to Janakpuri Police Station”.
In accordance with all standard operating procedures, the Punjab Police duly notified the Delhi Police of the case, he claimed.
He also produced some photographs to prove his claims. However, Delhi Police officials remained unavailable for comment.
Bagga was picked up from his residence in the Janakpuri area on Friday, a month after he was booked for his alleged remarks against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the latter’s views on ‘The Kashmir Files’ film. .
