Andhra Pradesh state government has revised cinema ticket prices

Hyderabad, March 8 (IANS): The Andhra Pradesh government has responded positively to cinema ticket prices in the state.

It is reported that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh has given a green signal for the new GO (Government Order) which will be implemented soon.

The Andhra Pradesh state government released the highly anticipated new GO on cinema ticket prices earlier on Monday, but there was no reference to the new online ticket booking system.

The new GO should provide much-needed relief to producers, exhibitors and distributors.

It should be noted that the new ticket price hikes will be in effect for the blockbuster movies “Radhe Shyam” starring Prabhas-Pooja Hegde and “RRR” starring Ram Charan-NTR.

Previously, the government of Andhra Pradesh pledged to introduce a new online cinema ticket booking portal to bring transparency to the ticket booking model.

Pillars like Chiranjeevi, Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas had met with the CM to ask the same, earlier. Now that the government has come up with the new ticket prices, it looks like a cool breeze for the next biggies.
